Get back to the core with Downtown Live, a summer series of live performances at various venues until the end of September. Catch indie, opera and Indigenous singers and performers on patios and in parks all around downtown. It’s a beautiful showcase of local talent with the beautiful backdrop of Edmonton itself.

ArtVenutres‘ Drink & Draw nights are back! Twice a month, founder Emma Wales hosts adult art classes for all abilities at locally owned venues. Head to Yellowhead Brewery September 1, or ANVIL Coffee House September 17, for an evening of artistic expression (and drinks!).
The House of Hush Burlesque take you to the 1920s every Wednesday and Thursday at the Spotlight Cabaret. Bourbon and Burlesque provides laughs, cheers and the celebration of the female form.

The Kaleido Festival celebrates its 15th year with Kaleido 2020 on Tour Showcase. The celebration runs all month long, but from September 11 to 13, artists, musicians, dancers and street performers will bombard the Alberta Avenue District (NAIT–Northlands, 75 St.–106 St/111 Ave .Yellowhead Trail) with performances and colour. Travelling on the backs of trucks, they will perform for passersby and move on to another location, all in the spirit of safety and spontaneity that is the Kaleido 2020 tour.
Fundraise and support seniors and individuals who call Good Samaritan home by taking part in the Good Samaritan Run, Walk & Roll virtual event, anytime until September 15. Complete the one-, three- or five-km route wherever you’d like, then enter to win prizes based on fundraising, social media and even costume goals. Can’t take part? On September 18, Victoria Golf Course hosts the Ultimate Night Golf Experience. The Edmonton River Valley Conservation Coalition is dedicated “to the protection, preservation, and regeneration of Edmonton’s North Saskatchewan River Valley and Ravine System,” and on September 19 hosts its annual fundraiser to celebrate and learn about one of the largest civic green spaces on the continent.
