The Alberta Council for Ukrainian Arts and the Ukrainian Resource and Development Centre of MacEwan University is putting on a celebratory fashion show called The Threads That Connect Us to bridge the past and present. Historical and retro Ukrainian fashion will be worn amongst pieces from Olena Romanova’s Contemporary Fall 2021 collection.

The Canadian classic Mary’s Wedding has been adapted to tell a Métis tale. Citadel Theatre presents Mary’s Wedding: A Métis Love Story, which tells the story of Mary who reflects the day before her wedding on how she met her lover. The story travels across the Alberta prairies to the battlefields of the First World War.

It’s not every day you get up close and personal with a country music legend. Learn the story of Patsy Cline’s road to stardom with Mayfield Dinner Theatre’s A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline. The homage features 20 of Patsy Cline’s top hits and is entertaining for all ages.

Fashion Week is the most exciting time of the year for the fashion industry, and Western Canada Fashion Week is no different. Immerse yourself in Canada’s hottest clothing lines and brands while supporting up-and-coming designers. Fashion Week only comes once a year, so don’t miss out on the fashion action.

Learn where your food comes from as you cook it with Awn Kitchen and Lazuli Farms. Beef and pork are provided from Lazuli Farms, which will be used to make grilled steak and pork dumplings. Sip on complimentary wine while listening to Kyle and Scott Bartman talk about the origins of Lazuli Farms and the many different recipes you can make with farm-raised ingredients. Giddy up and get down to the Edmonton Expo Centre for the Edmonton Pro Rodeo. The best of the best Canadian rodeo athletes and stock will be charging into Edmonton before heading off to the Canadian Finals Rodeo and National Finals Rodeo.
