GRILLING BEFORE THE PLAYERS TAKE TO THE GRIDIRON: The tailgate party is a football tradition. And, before every Elks game, fans gather for music, drinks, food and some green-and-gold camaraderie. Even though the Elks lost their season opener to the Saskatchewan Roughriders, we were there to soak in the atmosphere. We might have even caught a mini football or two.
