YOUR TURN
RE: April 2025 Issue
I am a subscriber of Edify and always find
the articles and perspectives fresh, exciting
and thought-provoking.
I particularly enjoyed the April 2025
edition. Living in one of the five key nodes
where the City has initiated rezoning, the
cover story had me rethink how densification
could be done in a way that doesn’t have
to take away the heritage nature of our
streetscape. As a lover of fine wine and the
philosophies underlying a producer’s
commitment to the craft, the profile of Enotri’s
Eberhard Tamm was much appreciated.
Thank you for being the voice and
platform for Edmonton and area. I will miss
Steven Sandor’s perspective as editor but
wish him well.

RE: “Shine on You Crazy Diamond,”
April 2025 issue
While I appreciate stories like this covering
amazing news in our city, can we please try
to get the distance right? We are not 30 km
outside of Edmonton. Much closer to 15 km
and it’s barely a 10-minute drive from
Edmonton to Spruce Grove city limits.

RE: “Distant Memory,” May 2025 issue
Another great piece from Edify. Dr. Jack
Jhamandas is leading the way on so many
incredible innovations and this is perhaps
one of his most important.
– Nate Glubish, Alberta Minister of Technology
and Innovation
It’s a privilege to have called Jack a friend
for more than 15 years. He is the first to put
others in the spotlight and it is wonderful to
see him recognized in Edify! This work is so
very important – and no one better to lead
it with passion and conviction. And Jack will
undoubtedly be successful.

at Alberta Cancer Foundation
