Into the Heat
Stashed inside boreal forest on the perimeters of Elk Island National Park, Canada’s
first Ööd House mirrored sauna was imported from Estonia and unveiled earlier
this year by Elk Island Retreat, a private campsite embracing glamping culture to
the fullest. The Nordic-style wood-fired sauna gives two to four people a 360-degree
view of the wild — plus eucalyptus oil, wood chips, cozy sandals and all the sauna
essentials required for a relaxing time.
