Birch & Bear Pizza
With its unique take on a pizza menu, Birch (veggie)
and Bear (meats) has the best pizza in Edmonton,
hands down. The crust is perfect every time, ingredi-
ents are fresh and delicious and the options are perfect.
My favourite is the Local Mushroom, Goat Cheese and
Leek. Even as I’m typing now I’m craving a slice of that
earthy, garlicky pizza. – ANDREW SMITH

I didn’t think pineapple on pizza could
surprise me anymore — until I met the
Korean Hawaiian from Die Pie. This isn’t
your average sweet-and-savoury combo.
Imagine the tangy heat of gochujang
aioli mingling with smoky ham seitan,
juicy pops of fresh pineapple and the zip
of house-made kimchi. Then there’s the
warm cheddar, and a sprinkle of cilantro
tying it all together like a spicy, tropical
dream. I know it’s more on the bold side,
but it’s got everything: sweet, savoury,
spicy — and just the right amount of sour
from the kimchi. One bite and you’re
