Even before you step into this Grovenor home, you’ll feel

“So they sit out front… you have this interaction for
people that are walking in the neighbourhood and it's very
friendly and I think that's infectious,” says Mike Arndt,
partner, sales and marketing lead with Urbis.
Urbis builds in many mature neighbourhoods, always
with an eye to the context of the area — blending the
contemporary with the classic so the home fits the character
of the block.
The inspiration for the home was a modern farmhouse
design — emphasis on modern. The interior is sleek and
polished, with subtle farmhouse touches. The pitched
roof, exposed gables and wood tones offer the warmth of a
country home, while black frame windows add a refined,
modern dimension to the exterior.
Inside, every element is thoughtfully designed, with help
from Iron River Surfaces. Helping the homeowners select
carpet, tile and hardwood flooring that brought the family’s
vision to life, Iron River also made sure every element was
durable — suitable for a family with three young kids.
