Historically, major museums worldwide depict women on canvas in states of erotica or subservience. Contrast this with portraiture of men as powerful and in control. We MUST flip this artistic marginalization on its head. As an artist, I empower women on canvas and pay tribute to their strength, intelligence, talent, compassion, and vitality. Women deserve to be visibly celebrated while we stand loud and proud for equalityand justice. This exhibition is For Women Who Roar. LOUDLY.
