We acknowledge that we are on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional meeting grounds, gathering place and travelling route to the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis, Dene and Nakota Sioux. We acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries.

As media members, we understand that we have roles and responsibilities to tell stories in a fair and balanced manner. And we pledge that our coverage of Indigenous peoples will be undertaken in the spirit of the Treaty. We are partners in the living document that is the Treaty.
