From June 3 to 26, the Pride Centre of Edmonton hosts an array of programs in celebration of Pride month. It also supports the 2SLGBTQ+ community and strives to make Edmonton a safe space for everyone.
The Pride Centre is re-opening to provide emergency supports and capacity will be limited to 10 people, weekly on Tuesdays 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. and Thursdays 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Supports include:
- Mental Health Support
- Clothing
- Food
- 2SLGBTQ+ refugee support
- Assistance with income support applications
On June 4 and 18 from 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., online queer connections are open to K-12 students, GSA sponsors and school staff only.
Bonus: gift card draw at every meeting.
A telephone-based supportive space to connect with other 2SLGBTQ+ seniors, Aging with Pride is for those who identify as older adults (all genders, sexualities and abilities are welcome).
