Feel the heat this Summer Solstice weekend at the virtual Space Grove stage hosted by Space Gnoise by Space Gnomes and Van Damage, an Edmonton music duo. Many talented entertainers have been working all year to reveal their creative performances and ambitious projects.
The Space Grove stage continues to feature some of the events that viewers have grown to love over the years, as well as some new experiences and surprises for you to enjoy, all from the comfort of your own home.
A variety of local DJs and performers will be participating, including Ayla Modeste (Shir Modesty), a Nehiyaw, Gwich’in dancer, and storyteller from Edmonton; Stella Marie, a local burlesque performing artist and DJ; and Natasha, an Edmonton-based hula hoop performer. The event will feature shows like the Space Gnomes Variety Show, Hip Hop Hooray flow dance jam, a Saturday night “Burn”, and Sunday’s afternoon Funk Jam.
But that’s not all! Space Grove also invites YOU to perform in the live virtual event. For anyone who is interested, you can send an inquiry to [email protected]. The combined talents and participants’ submissions will help create a unique weekend.
The event will be broadcasted for free via the Space Grove’s Twitch channel, beginning on June 19 and until June 21.
