Hosted by Wild Heart Collective and supported by Alberta Culture Days, Park Street Projects is a community mural event that will take place in Inglewood between September 25-27. The goal of Park Street Projects is to enhance, beautify and bring together communities and neighbourhoods that run adjacent to historical Park Street (127 Street) through public art projects and activations.
A local Indigenous artist Lance Cardinal will be working with the community to create a collaborative mural that will be on permanent display at the Inglewood Community Hall.
The goal of this mural project is to bring both the Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities in Inglewood together to celebrate the Land, Mother Earth, and healing through a community participation mural.
Families and residents of all ages throughout Inglewood and area will have an opportunity to help create the mural on Sunday, starting at 9 a.m., when the artists will be working on creating this piece of art in real time. All COVID safety measures will be in place.

Lance Cardinal has done many art projects that focus on healing, Indigenous story-telling and providing a safe space to create happy memories for all, through art.
