It wasn’t until 2020 that Kevin and Heather Fritz decided to quit their jobs and bring their skills sets into tiny homes craftsmanship. The seamless couple designed their first tiny home, a showcase of modern small living space no larger than 170 square feet. They started building it and shared the process on Instagram. Sold.
“When we built our first tiny home, we thought about doing one house at a time, for it to be a niche home design service,” says Heather Fritz, still surprised at their work receiving international attention. “We saw many people alternating their lifestyles during the pandemic and connected us to build tiny houses. It certainly is a unique space to live in, but we’re glad to witness people putting more consciousness into their living spaces.”
The modern Scandinavian style is popular among clients, as it has a clean, minimalist feel. Coming from a high-end home design background, Kevin loves applying triple-pane windows to tiny homes, letting in the natural light for a cozy atmosphere.
Their signature custom tiny home, The Fritz, includes an open living room, full kitchen, luxury bathroom with soaker tub, dreamy loft and cleverly hidden storage space. For those who have a certain piece of furniture to complete the space, bring on your Peloton bike, retro couch and gigantic house plants — the Fritzes know how to fit them in.
“Every client has a different story of choosing tiny homes. We are here to customize their future dream homes all to their intentions,” Heather says. “From where you spend your money, where you live, to how you spend your time… intentional living lets you live purposefully and thoughtfully. You live to know yourself, and live that out.”
