Congratulations on being nominated for Edify’s Top 40 program! Now it’s time to tell us a bit about yourself. Please fill out the Extended Questionnaire. We ask you questions about your career accomplishments, education, volunteer and community involvement. The information collected is used to confirm the details that were provided during the nomination process. All acceptance forms need to be submitted by midnight on June 9, 2024.
The acceptance form confirms your desire to be considered for the Top 40 Under 40 program, and provides additional information about your achievements that impacts the judges’ consideration of your application or nomination. If you don’t fill out the form, your application will not be considered.

When the magazine is published, third party companies may reach out to you to sell you a commemorative plaque. They are NOT connected to Edify or Odvod Publishing – they are stealing the images and trying to sell them to you. If you want a pdf of your article, please contact Edify directly. No, nominators are not disclosed to the nominees by Edify staff.
Due to the large volume of nominations, Edify is unable to reach out to every nominee. Successful Top 40 candidates will be notified of their status in the summer. Please make sure we have information on how to contact you during the summer months.
You will be contacted for an interview, and an in-person photoshoot in Edmonton. At the Top 40 Under 40 event in November, all Top 40s are honoured and their achievements highlighted at a major event in downtown Edmonton.
This information is intended to be kept confidential. You may tell one or two key people, but they must also keep this information confidential. To ensure that your friends and family are still able to come to the event to see you being honoured, we recommend that you tell your family/friends to “save the date” in advance of the launch of the magazine and prior to the event. Absolutely no public announcements or social media posts should be made until Edify releases the November issue.
The images taken of you, including those used in the magazine and throughout Edify’s channels and platforms, are copyright protected by the photographer. Edify holds the license to use the photos exclusively for 90 days after publication. You may buy the photos from the photographer directly. Please respect copyright laws and the work of the photographers.
