What Makes a Great Neighbourhood?

Edmonton is full of great neighbourhoods. We want to know what makes a neighbourhood stand out. What makes for a vibrant and friendly area, a place you want to put down roots?

We want to know what a neighbourhood needs to be great. What makes a place home. The people and places that set a neighbourhood apart.

All survey respondents will be entered to win a package of: locally made goods from Culina To Go, a pass for two to Metro Cinemas, a $250 gift card to Sabor and chocolates from Jacek Chocolates

    • Neighbourhoods are made up of people. Who do you want to chat with over the fence? How do you show up for your neighbours, and how do the people in a neighbourhood make the area a community?

    • What’s a small but meaningful thing a neighbor has done for you (or that you’ve done for someone else)?

    • Shoveled their walk/driveway
      Mowed their lawn
      Shared meals, baked goods
      Loaned tools, household items
      Shared information about the neighbourhood
      Helped carry groceries, move furniture, leant a hand in some way

    • We love Edmonton and its surrounding communities. You do, too. We want to know what it is that makes you proud to call the area home. The hidden gems and festivals that you love, the things that make Edmonton special.

    • What’s a hidden gem in the city that more people should know about?
