Government House Park
Location: 9938 Groat Rd
Limited parking which is only accessible from River Valley Road, this is a great spot if you want a picnic table and outdoor bbq in the park although a little farther from the fireworks than the rest of the list.

Location: 10233 96 Ave
There is still bleacher seating available for the Riverhawks game on July 1, 2026, where you can enjoy a full evening of entertainment.
Alberta Legislature Grounds
Location: 10800 97 Ave
Due to it’s high viewpoint, open space and mass transit and parking options this is the most popular location to watch the fireworks on the north side of the river.
Victoria Park
Location: 12130 River Valley Rd
If you’re lucky, watching a game of cricket will be part of your pre-fireworks evening. Washrooms may be available at Victoria Park Pavilion.
109th Street
Location: Between Saskatchewan Drive and High Level Bridge
Victoria Promenade
Location: 100th Avenue between 121st Street and 117th Street
Constable EzioFaraone Park
Location: 110th Street and 97th Avenue
Queen Elizabeth Park / Queen Elizabeth Hill
Location: 10380 Queen Elizabeth Park Rd
Between the Walterdale Bridge and the fireworks, the QE Hill will have a great views all evening. A big plus to this location is that there are public washrooms nearby.
Connors Hill
Location: 96A Street and Connors Road
Good for viewers who don’t like crowds.
Grant Notley Park
Location: 116th Street and 100th Avenue
