Farm to Folk at Old Red Barn offers a unique culinary experience — paired with live music. Enjoy a burger (Alberta beef, of course) cooked over a flame, local drinks and live music under the setting sun, in celebration of Alberta Open Farm Days.

An annual fundraiser across the country, CatVideoFest presents a compilation of the latest and greatest cat videos, from animation to music videos to meme-worthy clips. A portion of proceeds from CatVideoFest will be donated to SAFE, a local cat rescue.

The Edmonton International Fringe Festival is North America’s largest and longest running Fringe. This year’s festival features more than 200 productions, along with vendors, street performers and, of course, all the mini doughnuts and green onion cakes you can eat.

You might be too old to attend summer camp, but that’s where Props and Hops’ latest event at the Aviation Museum comes in. Explore the museum, sip local beer and take part in some nostalgic summer camp games.

Ahead of the CPKC Women’s Open at the Royal Mayfair Golf Club, Victoria Golf Course throws a Par-Tee pop-up barbecue, complete with live music and free driving range access — all celebrating and supporting women in golf.

The Edmonton Dragon Festival arrives in Kinistinâw Park. Take in the lion dance sport championship, learn traditional kite making in the kid’s zone and try festival-exclusive dishes at Chinatown eateries.

Pack your lawn chair or blanket and grab a spot on the grass — ESO Outdoors brings classical music and Hollywood scores to life in parks around the Edmonton region.

Sample beers and spirits from across Alberta and enjoy an adults-only stroll through the Valley Zoo at Zoo Brew. Best of all, ticket sales will go towards new habitats for the zoo’s resident snow leopards and Canada lynx.

Come for the parade, stay for the shows — Edmonton’s Pride festival is back. There’s music, there’s food and of course, there’s drag. Don your rainbow gear and make your way to the Ice District.

Opera comes to the University of Alberta Botanic Gardens for Opera al Fresco — a night of music under the stars. Wander the grounds, listen to music and enjoy charcuterie as summer fades into fall.

The Ice District’s going country for Boots and Hearts West. Shaboozey and Russell Dickerson headline two days of music in downtown Edmonton. Cowboy hats optional.

There are many opportunities to catch live music in the Edmonton region this month — but this is the only one at a grain elevator. Rock the Elevator: Battle of the Bands is a full night of entertainment celebrating Leduc’s history and the iconic grain elevator.
