Join Enoch Cree Nation for the first annual Night Market held at the River Cree Resort and Casino.
The event will showcase over 75 First Nation and local artisans and vendors, with over a dozen local food trucks and concessions including Tee Pee Treats. The event is family friendly with face painters and balloon artists for the kids, and fair favourite foods like mini doughnuts and cotton candy will be available at the outdoor market. There will also be 16 live performances including a powwow showcase and a performance by the Prince Charles School Fiddlers.
“The idea was born to support those artisans and how they’re channeling their energy positively into these beautiful works of arts, and provide them a platform to sell all the artwork they have,” says Jayne Behm, director of marketing at River Cree Resort and Casino.
Amberly Morin and Enoch Cree Nation present the Night Market and Entertainment Showcase in partnership with the River Cree Resort and Casino, located at 300 Lapotac Boulevard. You can visit the market from July 15 to July 17 from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., and July 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
