This September, Sangea Academy will be hosting a variety of workshops in celebration of Culture Days.
Through its workshops, Sangea Academy aims to share and preserve the West African culture through music and dance.
Every week, a different workshop will take place at legislature grounds, between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. All social distancing guidelines will be in effect. Through these workshops, you will learn the African dance and drumming techniques.
If you have a drum, you can bring it along with a stool or a chair. If not, Sangea will have a few drums ready for participants. You can text or call 780-807- 2998 if you don’t have one.
