The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra is taking its instruments outdoors and into a neighbourhood near you this month. This Saturday, August 7, the violin and string orchestra will be performing the renowned piece, The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi at 124th Street and 108th Avenue.
Bring a chair, bring a blanket and enjoy the melodies emanating from the street during this pay-what-you-can concert series. Organizers suggest a $20 value per ticket, but above all, they want attendees to come out and enjoy the music however they can.
The performance will start at 7 p.m. and last for an hour. If you miss Saturday’s performance, the ESO Outdoors will be back at 124th Street with new music on August 21, or you can catch them throughout Edmonton and area for the month of August.
You can RSVP for the concert and view the orchestra’s schedule on the Summer with the ESO website.
