Members of the Dev Edmonton Society (with help from the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute) are helping with an ongoing hackathon that “encourages the rapid creation of tools and solutions specifically for solving new problems arising as the world adapts to the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Already, over 1,200 people from around the world are working together to build useful apps that will help people in health care, education, retail and emergency management deal with the new reality. There are weekly prizes, and judges will starting making decisions in May, but whether you’re a coder or just have an idea for an app that will make people’s lives easier, you can join the fight today.
