Watching Disney movies as an adult could go one of two ways: either you like it because of the nostalgia, or you are reminded of how old you actually are.
The first time I watched The Emperor’s New Groove, I was in awe. The movie was so well done that I, a very grown-up adult, laughed. A lot. Although Kuzco’s pettiness and narcissism are funny, the character most of us relate to is Yzma. And we must accept it: we have all become Yzmas in the pandemic. And like Yzma, if you’re also obsessed with llamas, then Colour Me Mine’s event at West Edmonton Mall will be your jam.
On February 27 starting at 12 p.m., head to the iconic mall for the in-person session, where you’ll paint llamas in some wacky colours, while wearing your pyjamas. (Yes, the pyjamas are necessary for rhyming purposes.) Your $10 ticket includes a photoshoot, prizes, the glazing and firing of the pottery (there’s an additional fee for the piece of pottery you choose). And if you book the day with your cohort, you could bring home all the pottery to be a llama farmer (again, only for rhyming purposes).
