See the Alberta Legislature Grounds decked out for the holidays on River Valley Adventure Co.’s Legislature Lights Segway® PT Tour. This winter tour is new as of December 2021 and is only available until the end of January.
The hour-long Legislature Lights tour is for advanced riders older than 14 years of age. You’ll see over 100,000 Christmas lights on the Legislature Grounds as you learn about the history of the area. Did you know that the Legislature Grounds used to be the original Fort Edmonton? River Valley Adventure Co. recommends dressing warm for the hour-long tour.
Don’t worry if you’re not at the advanced level yet because River Valley Adventure Co. offers a Beginner Winter Segway Trek. There is a 60-minute tour or a 90-minute tour and each begins with a 30-minute training session. Afterwards, the adventure takes you through the snowy river valley, and you can extend your hour-long tour by 30 minutes for an extra $25 if you can’t get enough of the sights.
River Valley Adventure Co. offers a variety of other adventures including Segway® PT tours, paddle-board and cycling rentals in the spring and summer, and snowshoeing in the winter.
