The annual Edmonton Resilience Festival is returning this year, but is being hosted online this time.
Hosted by the Edmonton Permaculture Guild, this year’s event explores a manifestation of the
foundational principles of permaculture. As the original, physical event was cancelled due to pandemic restrictions, the organizers put their knowledge into practice and engaged the community to create a full and dynamic online festival.
The event is running from May 2 to 22, and is presenting 18 workshops, all free of charge. As always, the festival is being facilitated entirely by volunteers. The organizers encourage participants to donate, and all proceeds are going directly to the workshop hosts.
The festival presents a variety of workshops, including Intro to Edible Landscapes, Retraining Your Brain to be More Resilient, Family Yoga and more. The participants can also browse an online marketplace that features goods from local artisans, food producers and makers.
Tickets and a full schedule can be found on the website.
