River Valley Alliance is challenging Edmontonians to be active in one of the best ways possible — with prizes. The summer 2022 Scavenger Hunt is a weekly social media challenge promoting trails in Devon, Parkland County, Edmonton, Strathcona County, Sturgeon County and Fort Saskatchewan.
How it works is the River Valley Alliance posts a clue, whether it’s a photo of a trail landmark or information stand. No other clue is given, except for which municipality the trail is located.
Take advantage of the mild summer weather, find the trail and take a photo to prove you were there and tag River Valley Alliance with the proper hashtags for the contest, which are on River Valley Alliance’s website.
Winners will be announced weekly, and all entries will be combined for a grand prize giveaway at the end of the summer. Clues are posted daily with each week focusing on a specific municipality. The River Valley Alliance Scavenger Hunt ends on August 26, so grab your family and friends and hit the trails!
