Classics Reclaimed is an online rehearsed-reading series put on by The Tiger’s Hearts Collective in order to “encourage female-identifying artists to continue challenging themselves and connecting with each other throughout the pandemic.”
For the July performance, female-identifying BIPOC artists — whose voices have often been ignored when it comes to theatrical “classics” — will get the space to reclaim those very classics and redefine what actually makes a “classical performance.”
