Loosen your belts as Avenue takes you inside the best places to dine.
To determine the city’s best restaurants in10 categories we, the editors, teamed up with three experts: chef Gail Hall, who also hunted down and wrote our25 Best Things to Eat;Twyla Campbell, restaurant reviewer for CBC Radio One’s Edmonton AM; and Jennifer Cockrall-King, author of Food and the City: Urban Agriculture and the New Food Revolution.
Together we lobbied, debated, tasted, re-tasted, judged (first the food, then each other) and then debated some more. We believe the result is a comprehensive and fair representation of the most exciting restaurants in the city. Click the following categories to find out the top three restaurants in each title.
