A trailblazer is an individual or business who is at or near the top of their area of interest or expertise and leads the way for others to follow. Trailblazers are those rare individuals/organizations with a sense of direction and the fortitude to lead the way.

Must be a member of the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce.

- A trailblazer is someone who is at or near the top of their area of interest or expertise and leads the way for others to follow. With an ability to forge a path where none exists, a trailblazer doesn’t depend on a guide or set of instructions - this person sets out with tenacity and resilience in the direction of their vision. Trailblazers are those rare individuals with a sense of direction and the fortitude to lead the way. “Perseverance” and “risk-taking” are descriptors. A trailblazer is a team leader with an ability to leverage resources and the talents of others to inspire, disrupt and implement change.
