For the second year in a row, the highly anticipated Courage Gala benefiting the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation sold out ahead of time. More than 800 guests filled Hall D at the Shaw Conference Centre for the black-tie event.
“Our theme is ‘we are courage,’ and I think we see that theme come through consistently within the hospital and within the individuals who support us,” said David King, chair of the Glenrose Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees. “Our focus is really to be innovative, to create different ways to help put the Glenrose Hospital on the map. There are over 90 hospitals in Alberta and we are the only rehabilitation hospital.”
