After months of planning and judging, we are excited to unveil the winners, runner-ups and Readers’ Choice recipient for the inaugural Made in Alberta Awards.
As a small, locally owned business ourselves, this award program was particularly important to us — we love supporting and promoting local businesses and are excited to share some of Alberta’s best products with our readers.
We received hundreds of entries from across the province and were overwhelmed by the amazing talent and inventive products. The winners were chosen following an extensive judging process, which included consideration from a team of editors and a judging panel for each of the seven categories.
We are also revealing the recipient of our Reader’s Choice Award, and were thrilled to receive nearly 5,000 votes from our readers who picked their favourite entry.
