A group of volunteers in Edmonton are offering to pick up and deliver groceries, medicine and other essentials to those in need, both to provide support for high-risk individuals and to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Currently, most of the volunteers are offering free services, while some are asking for a small fee. If you require assistance or know somebody who does, you can find a volunteer fetcher through Fly and Fetch services, and send a request for assistance.
The Fly and Fetch platform has temporarily switched its services to connect healthy and able individuals with those in need of assistance, offering to collect and deliver supplies during this time of uncertainty and mandatory self-isolation.
