Summer’s here and it’s time to celebrate. It might look a little different than you’re used to, but there’s a new outdoor concert series that may just have you embracing the “new normal” with wide open arms.
“Music is an important part of bringing people together and connecting is important for people’s mental health,” says Mike Anderson, president at Trixstar, the North American entertainment trailblazer behind this unique summer concert series.
Scheduled across multiple dates in August on the Edmonton Exhibition Lands (formerly Northlands Park), and with a diverse lineup of musical acts that will satisfy any music lover, the Together Again Outdoor Concert Series is what we’ve been waiting for. And even though Alberta Health Services restrictions are scheduled to be lifted completely by early July, the concerts have your continued safety in mind with a re-imagined music festival experience you’ve never had before.
Reserved outdoor tables for you to enjoy the sights, and most importantly the sounds, of live music from classic Canadian folk heroes Blue Rodeo, local pop icon Nuela Charles and country favourites The Road Hammers, to name a few. Cashless ordering of food, drinks and merchandise that are delivered straight to your seat. Limited capacity in tables of six and spread across the historic Racetrack Infield all ensure your enjoyment of fantastic music, enhanced safety measures for your peace of mind and a focus on being together after so many months of being apart. You may never want to go back to the old music concert experience again.
Trixstar is proud to be a front-runner in this new way of concert going, all the while giving back to the community by sharing a portion of the ticket proceeds with local organizations Boyle Street Community Service and Hope Mission. And, Anderson says, the series “will create over 500 jobs for artists, technicians, security guards, bartenders, parking staff and countless other Albertans that have had a tough 15 months.”
It’s a win-win for the City and music lovers alike, and is sure to help propel us forward as we emerge from the global pandemic.
Tickets go on sale Friday, June 11 at 10:00 a.m. MST. For a full lineup and to buy your tickets, visit www.togetheragainyeg.ca.
