It’s time to get out and enjoy the summer in the Edmonton area. There’s no shortage of activities and destinations to keep you entertained and safe this summer. Explore the Parks of Edmonton
There are many parks and pathways to explore in Edmonton. Jackie Parker Park is a perfect spot for small groups, picnics, and walking a dog. Mill Creek runs through the park and offers a nice pathway for exploring the area. Afterwards, be sure to grab a cone at Scoops n’ Treats.

Cougar Creek Golf Resort
Hit the links west of Edmonton at the Cougar Creek Golf Resort in Parkland County. After a few birdies, visit the Daily Scoop at Beach Corner to reward yourself.

Pigeon Lake
Pigeon Lake, southwest of Edmonton, has swimming, fishing and camping spots. Daisy McBeans at the south end of the lake is a great spot to cool down with an ice cream.

Broadmoor Lake Park
There are many activities at Broadmoor Lake Park in Sherwood Park with a playground, spray park, volleyball courts, running track and a network of trails. The Ice Cream Shack is just a short hop away.

Parks Along the North Saskatchewan River
The North Saskatchewan River runs through Fort Saskatchewan, where there are plenty of parks and pathways along the river to spend an afternoon. Millers Ice Cream is just a short walk away from the banks of the river.
