Lindsay Kelloway sometimes still thinks of her travels to Maui. Those magical moments in the Hawaiian breeze shine along with her memories of discovering gemstone jewelry designed by local artists.
As she continued to find inspiration from her travels, the former childhood educator founded her sustainable jewelry line, Haiku Lane, in 2011. Working with gemstones, sterling silver and gold vermeil, Kelloway creates dream-like rings and bracelets suitable for special occasions and everyday life.
“I believe that everyone has a story, and your jewelry should reflect the special people and moments in your life,” says Kelloway, who has now filled in quite a few sketchbooks with jewelry designs.
More than 10 years into Haiku Lane, Kelloway has launched several jewelry collections, one of them being the Maui Collection. You’d find the unique Maui-inspired pearl necklace, Makai Seashell Clip and Seashell Ear Climbers in this collection. Those delicate and aesthetic jewelry pieces truly speak “a little bit of paradise”.
“I want my customers to feel connected to their pieces,” shares Kelloway. “Maui is the place that I felt where my soul is meant to be. I hope everyone can find that place and keep that feeling forever.”
