Ariana Villarreal remembers those magical, colourful balloons from her childhood birthdays.
She still smiles when think of those loud vivid colours. She’d dance in a room filled with floating balloons, taking pictures in front of the ballon arch, and feel like the happiest little girl in the world.
Now a mother of two, Villarreal tries to recreate those joyful memories for her kids. While it took her several frustrated trails to realize that managing a balloon wall for a kid’s birthday isn’t the easiest thing in the world.
“I had this (decor) idea in my head, but couldn’t accomplish it. It was an epic fail,” says Villarreal. “But I kept trying and researching, and started to explore this wonderful art of balloon decorating.”
And she didn’t stop exploring. Now five years into balloon venue decorating, Villarreal knows there are many more special occasions for those colourful arches to rise.
“Life is worth celebrating,” says the balloon artist. “When we celebrate, we want to celebrate it loudly.”
