For generations, families across Western Canada have turned to the Stollery Children’s Hospital in moments that matter most. From everyday emergencies to the most complex pediatric care, the Stollery is where expertise, compassion and hope come together for kids and families when they need it most.
Today, that care is being reimagined.
Through the Stollery No Bounds campaign, the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation has committed to raising $1 billion to support excellence in care today while helping build a new, stand-alone children’s hospital for tomorrow. It’s an ambitious goal, and one rooted in community.
“When Edmontonians come together, there’s no limit to what we can achieve,” says Karen Faulkner, President & CEO of the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. “That’s what No Bounds is — a community effort to support the current needs at the Stollery today, while helping build a new Stollery for tomorrow.”
As Western Canada’s most specialized children’s hospital, the Stollery serves the largest catchment area of any pediatric hospital in the region, caring for more than 316,000 patient visits each year. Yet it remains the only children’s hospital in Canada fully integrated within an adult hospital — a reality that limits space, flexibility and growth.
“The Stollery is the most specialized children’s hospital in Western Canada, and it’s time we give our talent, and our kids and families the space they deserve,” Faulkner says.
No Bounds is about more than a new building. It’s about creating the conditions for kids to receive world-class care in environments designed entirely around their needs — both today at the existing Stollery and for generations to come in a new stand-alone children’s hospital.
It’s also about ensuring that care continues to evolve alongside the children and families who rely on it. As demand for specialized pediatric services grows, so does the responsibility to build a system that can meet those needs now and well into the future.
At its core, No Bounds is about what’s possible when a community comes together around kids’ health. It’s a shared belief that children deserve care without limits — and a future shaped by compassion, innovation and collective action.
