Campio Brewing Co. and Alexander & Rose, an Edmonton-based antique, mid-century design business, make a perfect pairing when it comes to supporting local. The two have played host to the Campio Market Series – a series of pop-up market events featuring a wide variety of local businesses, artisans, makers, and creators alike. You’ll find everything ranging from vintage and antiques, local artists, craft soaps` and body care, local fashion businesses, jewelry, locally made candles, artisan cocktail companies, and ceramics – and that’s naming just some of what you can expect this summer. There truly is something for everyone to shop for.
Alexander & Rose was born out of a lifelong love for design and all things vintage, and run by Campio’s very own Zach Kahler.
“The Campio Market series was created in the midst of the pandemic when I saw how many small local businesses had had their selling opportunities reduced. I have hosted my own Alexander & Rose pop-ups for years in partnership with great restaurants and bars in the city, so I thought why not go a step further and add more businesses into the mix to give Edmontonians a more diverse shopping experience while curating a great lineup of local makers, creators, artisans, and businesses,” says Kahler. “Campio has been the perfect place to host the markets not only for the physical space, but also because of the pairing of great food and great beer. Local brewery, local businesses – it’s all about supporting local, especially in the wild times we’ve been living in!”
This summer you can expect over 40 different local businesses making appearances at the Campio Market Series on July 23rd, August 27th, and a yet to be determined September date. For more details and to learn more about this year’s vendors, follow @campiobrewing and @alexanderandrose_ on Instagram.
The Campio Market Series have become destination events to bring the whole family to (yes, including your dog), shop local vendors, and then grab some brunch or lunch at the brewpub.
