While many lives have come to a standstill with the pandemic, mandatory masks and social distancing, the show goes on in the fashion world. What’s next for men’s 2020 fall trends? Here are a few: The cross-body bag, the striped dress shirt, the stylish face mask and the checked print are trends to watch. That said, the fall season (or, the transitional season) will allow us to wear those clothes we had put away for a while, especially since our wardrobes have been on lockdown. But, if your wardrobe needs a make-over, here are three looks you can pull off this season.
Working from Home
Zoom meetings and PJs for work being the new norm, how can we be stylish, comfortable, and still look professional? With the focus being on your upper body, the most critical piece is what you’re wearing up top. Be creative with your sweater, shirt and even your glasses. A turtleneck is a versatile item that you can wear for any occasion, from interviews to daily team check-ins. Dress it up by adding a leather watch strap, and you’re ready for your next virtual meeting.
Grab a Cup
Just because we have to physically distance and wear masks doesn’t mean we can’t get out and support our local cafes. Grab the chance to dress up for your meeting and make a statement. Don’t forget to wear a mask and store your hand sanitizer in a stylish bag.
The Office
For the meetings that can’t be done over Zoom, pull out one of the classics. Since the 1900s, a well-fitted suit has been every man’s go-to. Paired with the right accessories, this will add the “007” feel to your look. With less, you say more when it comes to a power suit. A navy blue or grey suit is always the way to go for a corporate gathering.
