Form and function have forever been at odds in the fashion world. Men and women have had to choose between comfort and style when looking to emulate fashion-forward looks each season, but the newest movement in apparel has even the most die-hard trend-hunters breathing a sigh of relief. Sport-inspired clothes and accessories have exploded across the scene this spring, and designers have embraced a wide variety of cuts and fabrications that are more likely to appear on the field than strutting down the runway. Fashionistas across the globe are flexing their style muscles in everything from mesh to spandex, and sporty looks show no sign of dropping out of the fashion race anytime soon.
