On Friday, August 21, the 9th Annual Hate to Hope Campaign, along with #MakeItAwkward & Ubuntu-Mobilizing Central Alberta, and the John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights, will host the All My Relations Rally at the Legislature (10800 97 Avenue NW) to highlight the dark realities of racism Indigenous people faced, and still face.
Host Chevi Rabbitt, along with an array of Indigenous and ally speakers, will discuss racism in Alberta’s justice, healthcare and political systems, and why it’s so widespread. Show up to show your support and, if you can, bring supplies to donate to Camp Pekiwewin.
