“All around, I would say I’m very proud of our city for demonstrating a peaceful protest, and coming together to fight for change and bring about justice. The system that has been oppressing minorities for centuries needs to be dismantled. We always hear that saying that history repeats itself, as we enter yet another age of Aquarius and another wave of civil-rights protest! However, something feels different this time around. People are educating themselves, people all around the world are protesting for change and I think we’ll be the generation to fully make the switch happen.
