Hit the streets this summer and explore 124th Street for a chance to win big. The 124 Street and Area Scavenger Hunt is on and the prizes up for grabs include gift cards and an exclusive concert by the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra.
“The scavenger hunt is really about welcoming foot traffic and people back onto 124 Street and into the businesses,” says Luwam Kiflemariam, executive director of the 124 Street Business Association. “We thought it would be a fun way for people to come explore 124th Street, the businesses there, and have a little fun while they’re doing it.”
Pick up a scavenger hunt passport from any of the 40 participating businesses to participate. There are three passports in total, and you can complete them all at once or separately. Each passport has 13 tasks to complete at different businesses, and you’ll receive a sticker for your passport when you’ve completed each task.
Drop off your completed passports at The Prints and the Paper, located at 10725 124 St., to be entered in the weekly and grand prize draws. Prizes include $150 and $50 gift cards to any business in the area of your choice, and the grand prize is a VIP curated experience with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra at a secret location.
The first draw has passed, but there’s still time to enter the last two draws on July 7 and July 14. Find the list of participating businesses online and get hunting!
