Can’t Beat Us
This holiday season, Volvo of Edmonton is supporting Special Olympics Edmonton. The pandemic has severely affected the organization’s ability to provide athletes with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to engage in sport, and Volvo of Edmonton is working to help the organization continue its operations. The company has launched its Can’t Beat Us campaign, with the goal of raising $50,000. It is asking Edmontonians to help it reach its goal, and has promised to match every dollar you donate, up to $25,000. You can donate via the website.
Calendar of Wishes
Go Insurance has partnered up with Make-A-Wish Northern Alberta to make the wishes come true through the Calendar of Wishes program. The company’s team will help create and grant life-changing wishes for children living with chronic illnesses — and is encouraging Edmontonians to do the same. You can donate via the website.
The Magic of Lights
Each year, Castrol Raceway collects donations and works with multiple organizations to give back to the community during the holidays. This year, Castrol Raceway is facilitating and taking part in several holiday campaigns, including raising funds and gathering toys for 630 CHED Santa Anonymous, and gathering thousands of pounds of non-perishable foods for the Edmonton Food Bank and Hope Mission, in partnership with Rosenau Transport Ltd. You can find out more about its other local charity initiatives on the website.
