Taste of Edmonton is back at Churchill Square starting this Thursday, July 22, with new vendors and new food for Edmontonians to enjoy. The festival is bigger than ever this year, with more space added to the grounds along 99th Street and sections of 100th Street.
“All the big players are back this year, vendors who have been here for a while,” says Weslee Qualie, the operations manager for Events Edmonton. “We’re hoping attendance will be higher than previous years since people are ready to get outside and do something around Edmonton.”
Due to travel restrictions at the border, the 2021 Taste of Edmonton festival will have a unique twist this year featuring musical acts exclusively from Edmonton. There will be four performances a night at the Sysco stage, starting at 5 p.m. and running until 10:30 p.m. Performances are free to attend, and all ages are welcome.
The festival runs from July 22 to August 1. Information regarding tickets, parking and more can be found on the Taste of Edmonton website.
