When the latest 40 of the city’s best and brightest young influencers made their way across the stage at the Edmonton EXPO Centre, the dimly lit ballroom exploded with applause. Sure, 200 of Edmonton’s beautiful and influential people, including previous years’ alumni, were in attendance, but tonight was a night for the new guard.
Not new to Top 40 Under 40, however, was the annual chance for friends, family, colleagues and prominent Edmontonians to schmooze, mingle and enjoy a curated selection of cocktails, wines, spirits and delectable dishes from the Northlands catering service.
