You might think you know opera — but Silence: A New Opera from NUOVA Vocal Arts is unlike anything you’ve seen before. This satirical opera, composed by Leslie Uyeda, with a libretto by Edmonton’s own Darrin Hagen, grapples with ‘light-hearted’ topics like patriarchy, religion and gender.
