Measha Brueggergosmanhas performed for Queen Elizabeth II, Nelson Mandela and the Prince of Wales. But recently, the opera soprano sang alongside theEdmonton Symphony Orchestraat the Winspear Centre. Prior to the Oct. 29 performance, sponsored by Air Canada, concert-goers enjoyed champagne and chocolates bySweet Lollapalooza.Brueggergosman sang a variety of selections such as “L’Extase de la Vierge” and several ofWilliam Bolcom‘s Cabaret Songs. “It was amazing because I’ve never sang at the Winspear;and it’s my debut with theESOand with [conductor] Bill Eddins. From start to finish, it was areal pleasure,” said Brueggergosman.
