It can happen to anyone. It starts with a disagreement or a different interpretation of a situation or a contract. And then a dispute ensues. Legal representation is now necessary, but most people have no idea where to start finding help to get clear guidance. Big name firms typically come up first, but can often feel intimidating or overwhelming. It’s worth considering a small, boutique law firm that can provide practical advice — even in the most complex legal disputes.
Bradley Smith and Natalie Chetcuti founded StandPoint Law almost two years ago, with a focus on one unique value proposition: delivering high-quality legal representation without sacrificing the personal attention clients deserve. The firm serves individuals and businesses across a surprisingly wide range of civil litigation matters, from agribusiness to commercial to estate law.
Smith has been practising law since 2012, and spent much of his early career at big law firms. Early on, he decided to be a generalist, rather than zeroing in on one practice area as many lawyers do. What made him establish this firm was the unique value he offers clients — big law experience in a personalized environment, where clients don’t get lost in the bureaucracy.
“My practice was actually much broader when I began. There was nothing that I wouldn’t take on including criminal law,” adds Smith. “You name it, I was willing to look at it. And the advantage of that, as opposed to specializing right away, is you get a broader understanding of more things that legal services touch.”
Clients come to StandPoint Law with just about every type of legal question. Smith prides himself on being his client’s trusted advisor. Clients benefit from Smith’s varied and extensive experience, managing complex legal matters, without ever losing the face-to-face, personal service.
As StandPoint Law’s business manager, Chetcuti also brings a personalized approach to the firm.
“I’m very proud of this law firm and what we have to offer,” Chetcuti adds. Clients value the warmth and care the team brings to each case, cultivating strong relationships with them.
