“I love Mikado because it’s been a pioneer here. I also think it’s the best sushi in town. I absolutely love the robata (grill) items there – the hamachi collar (I order it with sea salt only, not with barbecue sauce) and the grilled squid are my two faves. I like the attention to detail there with the sushi and other menu items.”

“Sushi Ya in City Centre Mall is my go-to sushi place for lunch between rehearsals. It is fast and good quality. I usually call ahead to order miso soup, a spicy tuna hand roll and a dynamite roll, and then take it back to the Winspear.”
