The Made in Alberta flight will feature two of the drink category’s runners-up, Raw Distillery’s Raw Peppercorn Gin and Burwood Distillery’s Honey Liqueur, and the winning product, Eau Claire Distillery’s Prickly Pear EquineOx. Each flight will feature the spirits alone or the spirits in three custom sample cocktails created by the restaurant. Some restaurants may choose to substitute the winning spirits with another product from the same distillery.
The goal of the collaboration, which will feature custom boards and tasting note cards, is to collaborate in promoting liquor grown and made right here in Alberta. Lindsay Smylie, CEO of Raw Distillery, says the collaboration will also help cross-promote each of the distilleries’ products, sharing all three spirits with new restaurants and customers that may have never tasted them before.
Many restaurants will be offering something different, so be sure to check out more than one location.
